It allows only the following diagnostic tests to be used in determining the stage : palpation ( feeling with the fingers ), inspection, colposcopy, endocervical curettage, hysteroscopy, cystoscopy, proctoscopy, intravenous urography, and X-ray examination of the lungs and skeleton, and cervical conization.
